These Capiz shells, also known as windowpane oysters, are found in the shallow coastal waters of the Philippines. They are a durable surface which is fully recyclable and not hazardous to your health. The shells have been used for thousands of years as a glass substitute because of their strength and translucence. They come in several natural colors and are often baked, bleached, stained, and steamed to be able to shape around all the available profiles.  

These stunning finishes are shown here with accents of Sterling Silver as well as 23K gold leaf.  These one of a kind frames are also available in round and oval shapes for ANY size frame or mirror.
